Small works for The Birds.
Still in mad preparation for The Birds. Painting, shuffling completed works around. Figuring out what needs to come out to make it a cohesive collection. Deciding whether a group of smaller sets will work. I think it will.
It’s always a gamble, putting a show together. It is often the work that I nearly left out, or feel obliged to include that sells. This is confusing, and makes me question my own judgement over and over. It’s like playing bingo – I suppose you choose the set that ‘feels’ right, then the person next to you wins. It’s all good fun of course, but a win is a nice thing, and a sale is always a win.
Last night we took Momentum down. It was a great experience, and so lovely to show with a friend and share the rollercoaster that a show can be. We are already planning our next one, which is a pretty nice feeling, and discussing what we may be able to do in the meantime.
Life is good. 🙂
