Sometimes its the things that you can’t do which make you try harder with what you’ve got. Restrictions can be a blessing in their own right.
Having to be home by a certain time cramps your style, but makes you disciplined. Not being able to have a haircut makes you grumpy, but focus on other things (and save time and money I suppose). Needing to do the school runs can be bothersome but provides a restorative number of smiles and cheery greetings that would otherwise be missing in the day. Wanting to do things that can not possibly be tackled due to time restrictions may be natures way of giving us a reason to get out of bed the next morning, and the morning after that, and the morning after that.
Tied, tired, grateful me.
