New work. I’m so drawn to seated poses for some reason – there is something restful and impending about a seated picture. A private moment caught. Vulnerability and strength.
Our weekend was good – despite going to the Bayside show and finding that my large picture had not been hung. It was ‘in rotation’ and could not be found immediately. It will be interesting when I go to pick it up today to see if they can locate it at all. Not sure what they do if they can’t find it. I’ve never had a picture not hung before, and I was rather proud of it. All very confusing.
Little one moved to a big bed all of her own – which was extremely exciting for her. It will be interesting to see what happens with the daytime sleeps now she is no longer ‘contained’. Trying not to feel apprehensive. It’s the right time for her – so all else has to move around her for the time being.
