Finally, after almost 2 weeks of waiting, my new paint has arrived. Buying it over the net was quite a saving from my local art shop. Next time I do it though, I’ll know that I need to be more prepared. I got down to my last scrags of a few colours, and had to go and buy an inferior tube of one paint, because I didn’t want to waste the money (stupid really – it wasn’t half as nice to work with).
I’m half way through a piece that’s working really nicely – so I’m excited to have new paint to go on with, and the dancing bridesmaids that was bothering me is about to get a facelift (pardon the pun – all will be revealed in a couple of days).
Very excited about painting this afternoon. All I need now, is for little one to go to sleep when she’s supposed to and I’ll be off and racing!
I don’t blame ya there Michelle! I get excited when I have good paints as well. I got some for Christmas and couldn’t wait to get started on my next painting! YOU GO GIRL! You’ll have loads of fun!
